This site — devjmnz.tech — is operated by Dev JMNZ (Eduardo Jiménez), based in Miami, FL. The short version: I collect only what you send me, I use basic analytics to understand how the site is used, and I don't sell or trade your information. Ever.
1. What I collect
Information you send me
When you use the contact form or email me directly, I receive what you provide: your name, email address, and whatever you write in your message. You choose what to share — none of it is collected without you hitting send.
Analytics
The site uses basic web analytics to understand aggregate usage — things like which pages are visited, approximate location (country/city level), browser type, and referring site. This data is aggregated: I look at trends, not at individual visitors, and I don't use it for advertising or cross-site tracking.
2. How I use it
- To reply to your inquiry — that's why the contact form exists.
- To scope and deliver a project if we end up working together.
- To understand what content is useful and improve the site.
No newsletters or marketing emails unless you explicitly ask for them. No selling, renting, or trading your information with anyone.
3. Cookies and local storage
The site stores your theme preference (light/dark) in your browser's local storage. Analytics may set a small number of cookies or use cookieless measurement, depending on the provider. You can control both through your browser settings; the site works fine without them.
4. Third-party services
Messages and analytics data pass through the service providers that run this site's infrastructure — hosting, form processing, and analytics. Each has its own privacy policy governing data handled on their systems. I use established providers and share only what's needed to operate the site.
5. Retention
I keep correspondence for as long as it's useful for our conversation or an active project. If you want your messages deleted, ask — see below.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information. You don't need a legal basis to ask me: email me and I'll handle it.
7. Children's privacy
This site is aimed at businesses and is not intended for children under 13. I don't knowingly collect information from children.
8. Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with an updated date. No retroactive surprises.
